DAN OXYGEN PROVIDER
The DAN (Divers Alert Network) Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Provider course is a basic training class in providing oxygen first aid to victims/ patients in diving related accidents.
This course is completed over a half day and is a prerequisite to the DAN Oxygen Instructor and ROS® programs. When combined with the PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Emergency First Responder courses, you receive the best possible preparation to react to any diving rescue incident.
This course is optional but considered to be highly desirable by most dive operations.
Entry Requirements:
Current CPR and First Aid training (PADI Emergency First Responder is recommended)
Minimum age:
18 years for Career Candidates
12 years for Non-Career Candidates
Course Materials:
The following books and materials are required for the DAN Oxygen Provider course:
• DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
• Non-rebreather mask
• Pocket mask
The manual and masks are included in the price of the course.

Schedule & Dates:
At Pro Dive we offer three scheduling formats for you to take DAN Oxygen Provider training – Semester Scheduling, Career Scheduling or As Needed. Semester Scheduling is conducted on nights and weekends, and our Career Scheduling is done in consecutive days.
